I’m Kenny Inglis, a composer and producer based in Glasgow, Scotland.

I’ve been writing and producing music for over 20 years. Like the majority of other people who have made a career in the music industry, my journey has involved a number of left and right turns.

I started as an engineer running my own small commercial studio, learning my craft as I went. The studio attracted a number of record labels and it wasn’t long before I was performing on, engineering, and producing many of their releases. I spent a number of years as a recording artist on the roster of various labels in Europe and the United States, writing and producing under a variety of pseudonyms. This eventually led me into television and film.

My tv, film and new media credits are extensive. My music has appeared in a number of hit US TV dramas, including Six Feet Under, Numb3rs, CSI, CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, Nikita, Ringer and more. I have scored documentaries for the BBC and ITV, worked on ads from Audi to American Airlines, and created soundtracks for a number of video games. Much of my time at the moment involves writing for film trailers, with credits including Aeon Flux, Déjà Vu, Dead Man Down, Gangster Squad, Spike Lee’s Undisputed Truth, and Return To Zero.

My other work involves both artist production and collaboration. I have been lucky enough to work with a variety of talented artists including Sophie Barker (Zero 7), Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue), Rob Birch (Stereo MCs), Concetta Kirschner (Princess Superstar) and more. In my free time I still write and produce new material of my own under a bunch of pseudonyms. These include Cinephile, Mothmatix, Koba, Kid Grenade, and Spylab.

My music is available for licensing, and I am available for both bespoke composition, and production work. If you want to discuss anything, I'd be pleased to hear from you.

Thanks for looking, and listening…
